MCDOT - 51st Ave / Estrella Dr. - Santa Cruz

Nesbitt Contracting completed the rehabilitation of approximately 4.5 miles of 51st Avenue from Estrella Drive to Santa Cruz. The project included 1.5 inches of asphalt overlay, with milling performed only at roadway crossings to ensure proper transitions to existing intersections.

Nesbitt provided all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and permitting, delivering a full roadway improvement that included paving, milling at tie-ins, striping, and RPM installation. The overlay paving itself was completed efficiently over a concentrated three-day paving window.
